
Dream Lodge rates
Agama and Gecko cottages:
R 1050.00 per person per night including a three course dinner and breakfast that is served at the cottage at the time you prefer.
During busy times, a minimum two nights stay might apply over weekends.
Chameleon cottage:
R1000 for the whole cottage on a self catering basis.
Meals can be provided at an extra cost depending on which meals you’d prefer.
Early arrivals can be arranged if there are no other guests the night before. An extra charge of R100 per hour will be levied from the time arranged. Thus, if you ask to arrive at 12, not 14h00, you will be charged R200 extra whether you arrive at the arranged time or not
Dream Lodge is always open, so take a chance and inquire, even if its on short notice.
Our book in time is after 14hoo and booking out is at 11h00. However, these times are often negotiable as we might not have guests before or after you.

Warning! do not use Google Maps to find Dream Lodge, as despite numerous attempts to correct their information, they sometimes indicate Dream Lodge at the wrong location or indicate a road that doesn’t exist. Sam is happy to send a pin via WhatsApp on your day of arrival.
From the town of Magaliesburg, one HAS TO stay on the R509 Koster road for 17.1km before taking the Wind in the Willows turnoff and calling Sam.
Directions from Johannesburg:
Drive northwest on Hendrik Potgieter.
Continue straight over the Krugersdorp highway onto the N14.
Straight on till you reach a T junction.
Turn right.
Travel till you reach the second tar road left, which you take. This is the road that passes directly in front of the Maropeng visitor’s center.
Continue until you reach a stop, turn right towards Magaliesburg Town.
In Magaliesburg, go through the dip, and take the R509 Koster road left.
Travel 17.1km and then take the Wind in the Willows turn-off onto dirt road.

From Pretoria:
Take the N14 Krugersdorp highway, till where it crosses Hendrik Potgieter. Take a right turn and follow the same directions as Johannesburg.

Usual two night menu: We use as much of our own vegetables and fruit as we can harvest in season. All meals are made from fresh produce, so we can adapt for allergies and preferences including vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and halal.
Starters:
Seasonal salad, or sometimes vegetable soup in winter
Main:
Italian chicken – chicken fillet strips in a tomato and onion base with fresh herbs, served with pasta. (gluten free available)
Beef curry – Beef cubes in a curry sauce with carrots and beans, served with rice.
Desert:
Choccolate mousse or baked desert with freshly made custard.
Breakfast:
Rooibos tea, coffee (filter and instant), milk, orange juice, fruit salad, yoghurt, granola, toast, butter, homemade jam, cheese omelettes.
